At the Chamber Music Recital in May, 2019, Emily and Adella perform Land by Takatsugu Muramatsu, arranged by J. Jerg and R. Rohner, in the concert hall of the Fine Arts instructional Center on the campus of Eastern Connecticut State University.
Land was written for marimbist Momoko Kamiya by composer Takatsugu Muramatsu. This beautiful and elegant piece incorporates a very rubato tempo, allowing the performer to be very expressive within the framework laid out by Muramatsu.
Emily was awarded the ECSU Undergraduate Research/Creative Activity (UGRCA) Fellowship in 2018 and Adella was recently announced as a 2019 recipient. The program provides opportunities for students from any major to conduct research or a creative project with a mentor in their field.
